She drove nearly all night through the cold desert night. She didn’t have a plan for where she was going, but headed west knowing she’d know when she found it. Hardly able to stay awake, she pulled to the side of the highway as the sun breached the horizon. In glorious pinks, oranges, and gold, she was able to see what had eluded her in the night. Mountains in the distance, gently rolling dusty hills covered in desert brush and grasses all casting long shadows of early morning. Before her was a saguaro cactus. An ancient giant, surely having its own lifetime of stories, held its arms out to the sunrise as though it was greeting the day with her.

An iconic piece for any lover of the west, this cactus patch is 4 1/2” h x 3” w. Outlined in an olive sage green and covered in black thorns, an image of resilience and endurance.

All patches are made using genuine DMC embroidery floss and premium acrylic felt made from recycled water bottles. Patches can be attached to clothing, backpacks, or hats by sewing, gluing, or using an iron on product.

Each item is designed, printed, and hand sewn by Revolution Handmade. Hand sewn patches use traditional embroidery techniques in a modern way to preserve classic skills. As is the nature of handmade items, each patch will have its own individual and unique character.
