For weeks the summer weather had been oppressively hot and she’d avoided going out except for when absolutely necessary. As the day dragged on, she worked, read a book, and looked out the window. Late in the evening, as the sun began to dip low, she drove to the lake and parked in the adjacent dirt lot. She walked through a grove of trees separating the lot from the open field behind it. She couldn’t help but take in a deep breath of awe as she crossed the threshold. In the summer sun, long grasses waved in unison in the breeze. Patches of wild flowers, yellow, pink, white, and orange cropped up in patches like colorful islands. She held the hem of her dress in a pouch as she began to collect a variety of them.

All patches are made using genuine DMC embroidery floss and premium acrylic felt made from recycled water bottles. Patches can be attached to clothing, backpacks, or hats by sewing, gluing, or using an iron on product.

Each item is designed, printed, and hand sewn by Revolution Handmade. Hand sewn patches use traditional embroidery techniques in a modern way to preserve classic skills. As is the nature of handmade items, each patch will have its own individual and unique character.
