She walked through the old metal archway of the cemetery. She needed quiet and solace and knew there was nowhere else that would grant her that like the cemetery would. Because it was a weekday, no one else was there visiting. She walked slowly, reading the stones as she went, imagining the lives of those long gone and perhaps forgotten. She imagined what their lives could have been like based on when they lived and what their headstones said about them. She reached the part of the cemetery that had a memorial bench. She sat, shaded by the large pine tree growing next to it. Her eye was caught as she saw a raven land on a stone a row over from her with the name ‘Lenore’ etched across the front.

Ravens symbolize ancient wisdom, intelligence, transformation, prophecy and, insight. Measures 3 1/2” h x 3 1/2” w the raven is black with dark gray, purple, navy, and emerald feathers.

All patches are made using genuine DMC embroidery floss and premium acrylic felt made from recycled water bottles. Patches can be attached to clothing, backpacks, or hats by sewing, gluing, or using an iron on product.

Each item is designed, printed, and hand sewn by Revolution Handmade. Hand sewn patches use traditional embroidery techniques in a modern way to preserve classic skills. As is the nature of handmade items, each patch will have its own individual and unique character.
